Thyme is a perennial in Minnesota.
Sunlight: Full sun (6+ hours daily).
Soil: Well-drained, sandy or loamy soil.
Transplanting: Plant at the same depth as in the pot.
Watering: Allow soil to dry between waterings.
Fertilization: Fertilize sparingly every 6–8 weeks with a low-nitrogen fertilizer (5-10-10).
Other tips:
Harvest frequently to keep plant compact and flavorful.
Divide clumps every few years to rejuvenate.
